Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21/08/2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Work Price, including the Work Price mobile applications, web application and related services.
By creating a Work Price account or purchasing a Work Price subscription, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Work Price.
1. Who we are
Work Price is operated by:
In these Terms, “Freemon Software Solutions Ltd”, “Work Price”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the Work Price service.
“You” and “your” refer to the person using Work Price.
2. About Work Price
Work Price is a productivity and record-keeping application designed primarily for self-employed subcontractors working on building sites.
The service allows you to:
- import, scan or create price lists;
- create and manage plots;
- record completed work;
- record additional and day works;
- track work progress;
- view outstanding and completed work;
- generate PDF timesheets; and
- manage your Work Price data.
Work Price is a tool for recording and organising information provided by you.
Work values
Work Price stores work values as numbers.
These values are unit- and currency-agnostic.
For example, a value of 25 could represent £25, 25 hours, 25 units or another quantity depending on how you use the application.
Work Price does not determine or record the currency or unit represented by a value.
Values displayed in generated timesheets are therefore presented as numbers and are not represented as a particular currency by Work Price.
Not financial, accounting or tax software
Work Price is not:
- a payment service;
- a banking service;
- an accounting service;
- payroll software;
- tax software;
- financial advice; or
- a service for processing payments between you and another person or organisation.
You are responsible for determining the meaning, currency, unit and accuracy of the information you enter into Work Price and for using the resulting records appropriately.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to use Work Price.
Work Price is intended primarily for adults and is not directed at children.
By using Work Price, you confirm that you are legally entitled to enter into these Terms.
4. Your Work Price account
You need a Work Price account to use the service.
Work Price does not require you to create or store a password.
You can authenticate using:
- Apple;
- Google; or
- your phone number using a one-time verification code.
You are responsible for maintaining control over the device, Apple account, Google account or phone number used to access your Work Price account.
You must not knowingly allow another person to access your account unless the functionality of Work Price expressly permits it.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
If you believe that someone has accessed your account without your permission, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Your information and content
You retain responsibility for the information you enter, upload, scan or create using Work Price.
This may include:
- price lists;
- work information;
- plot information;
- additional works;
- day works;
- numeric work values;
- timesheet information; and
- other content you choose to enter.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use information that you upload or enter into Work Price.
For example, if you scan a price list provided to you by another organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to use that information in Work Price.
Licence to provide the service
You grant Work Price the limited rights necessary to store, process, reproduce and transmit your content for the purpose of providing Work Price to you.
For example, this allows us to:
- store your price lists;
- process your work records;
- synchronise your data;
- generate your timesheets;
- make your data available across supported devices; and
- perform the technical operations necessary to provide the service.
We do not acquire ownership of your content by providing Work Price.
We do not use your work content to sell advertising or sell information about your work to third parties.
6. Our intellectual property
Work Price and its underlying technology are owned by or licensed to Freemon Software Solutions Ltd.
This includes, where applicable:
- the Work Price name and branding;
- the Work Price application;
- the web application;
- software code;
- user interface designs;
- graphics;
- logos;
- documentation;
- databases and database structures; and
- other intellectual property forming part of the service.
Except where these Terms expressly permit it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, licence, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit any part of Work Price.
You may use Work Price only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.
7. Subscriptions
Work Price is provided through recurring subscription plans.
You can choose from the subscription plans made available by Work Price at the time you subscribe.
Subscriptions may be available on a:
- monthly basis; or
- annual basis.
The price and billing frequency applicable to your subscription will be clearly displayed before you purchase it.
Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the applicable billing period, your subscription will automatically renew for another billing period.
Your subscription gives you access to the paid features included in your chosen plan for the duration of the applicable billing period.
8. 28-day free trial
Work Price currently offers a 28-day free trial to eligible new subscribers.
The availability of the free trial may be subject to eligibility requirements and may not be available to users who have previously used a Work Price trial or subscription.
The way the free trial is started and how payment is collected depends on where you subscribe.
Web subscriptions
If you start your free trial through the Work Price website, you do not need to provide payment information when starting the trial.
You can use Work Price for the 28-day trial period without being charged.
At the end of the 28-day trial:
- your free trial ends;
- you will be required to provide a valid payment method to continue with the selected paid subscription; and
- once a valid payment method has been provided, the first subscription payment will be taken immediately.
If you do not provide a payment method and complete the subscription payment at the end of the trial, your paid subscription will not begin.
You may cancel your trial at any time before the end of the 28-day trial period without being charged.
Apple subscriptions
If you start your free trial through Apple's App Store, Apple may require you to provide payment information when starting the subscription.
Apple will normally record the subscription arrangement and, unless you cancel before the end of the trial, will automatically charge the applicable payment method when the 28-day trial period ends.
Payment processing for Apple subscriptions is handled by Apple.
Google Play subscriptions
If you start your free trial through Google Play, Google may require you to provide payment information when starting the subscription.
Google will normally record the subscription arrangement and, unless you cancel before the end of the trial, will automatically charge the applicable payment method when the 28-day trial period ends.
Payment processing for Google Play subscriptions is handled by Google.
Trial eligibility
We may limit the free trial to eligible new subscribers.
For example, we may determine that a user is not eligible for a new free trial if they have previously used a Work Price free trial or subscription.
We reserve the right to change or withdraw the free trial offer for future subscribers, subject to applicable law.
9. Subscription payments
The payment provider used depends on where you purchase your subscription.
Website subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through the Work Price website are processed using Stripe.
For web subscriptions, payment information is not required when you start the 28-day free trial.
If you continue with a paid subscription after the trial, Stripe will process the payment information that you provide at that time.
Stripe handles the payment information necessary to process your subscription.
Work Price does not store your full payment card details.
Apple subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's payment and subscription systems.
Apple handles payment processing for these subscriptions, including collecting and storing the payment information necessary to charge your subscription.
Google Play subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are subject to Google's payment and subscription systems.
Google handles payment processing for these subscriptions, including collecting and storing the payment information necessary to charge your subscription.
RevenueCat
Work Price uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and entitlements across supported platforms.
RevenueCat does not replace the payment provider. It helps Work Price determine whether a user has an active entitlement to paid Work Price features.
RevenueCat may receive information relating to your subscription, purchase and entitlement status from the relevant payment provider.
10. Prices and taxes
Subscription prices will be displayed before you purchase a subscription or, where applicable, before you provide payment information at the end of a free trial.
Where applicable, prices may include taxes or other charges as required by law or by the relevant payment platform.
The price and billing interval applicable to your subscription will be shown before you commit to the purchase.
If the price of your subscription changes, we will provide appropriate notice before the new price applies to a renewal, where required by law.
11. Automatic renewal and renewal notifications
Unless you cancel your subscription before its renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew for another billing period.
The renewal frequency will correspond to the subscription plan you selected.
For example:
- a monthly subscription normally renews monthly; and
- an annual subscription normally renews annually.
The applicable payment provider will charge the payment method associated with your subscription in accordance with its billing process.
We will send you an email approximately 3 days before each scheduled subscription payment to remind you that your subscription is due to renew and that a payment will be taken.
The renewal reminder will include information about the upcoming payment and, where appropriate, how to cancel your subscription.
For subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google, the relevant app store may also provide its own subscription notifications.
You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are kept up to date so that Work Price renewal notifications can be delivered to you.
The failure of an email to reach you, for example because of an incorrect email address, spam filtering or an email provider issue, does not by itself cancel your subscription.
12. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time, including during the 28-day free trial.
Cancellation is available online and does not require you to contact us by telephone or email.
When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period or free trial.
Cancelling during the free trial
If you cancel during your free trial:
- you will not be charged for the subscription;
- your trial will continue until the end of the 28-day trial period, unless the relevant platform's rules provide otherwise; and
- your paid subscription will not begin.
For web trials, no payment method is collected until the end of the trial, so there is no payment to cancel.
For Apple and Google trials, cancellation must be completed through the relevant app store's subscription management system before the trial ends to prevent the automatic charge.
Cancelling a paid subscription
If you cancel a paid subscription:
- your subscription will not renew;
- no further renewal payment will be taken; and
- you will retain access to paid Work Price features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
Cancelling a subscription does not normally result in an immediate loss of access.
Where you purchased your subscription
If you purchased your subscription through:
- the Work Price website, cancellation is managed through the Work Price subscription management facilities;
- Apple, cancellation is managed through your Apple subscription settings; or
- Google Play, cancellation is managed through your Google Play subscription settings.
The relevant payment provider or app store may have additional cancellation instructions.
You should ensure that your subscription shows as cancelled before the next renewal date or before the end of your free trial if you do not want it to renew.
13. Refunds and statutory cancellation rights
Work Price does not normally provide discretionary refunds for unused time remaining after you cancel a paid subscription.
For example, if you purchase an annual subscription and cancel after six months, your subscription will normally remain active for the remainder of the annual billing period, but we will not normally refund the unused portion of that period.
Similarly, cancelling a monthly subscription after a monthly payment has been taken will normally prevent the next renewal rather than refunding the current billing period.
However, nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Where you have a statutory right to cancel a subscription or receive a refund, that right will apply regardless of anything stated elsewhere in these Terms.
This may include rights relating to the commencement of digital services, cooling-off periods or other statutory consumer protections, depending on your circumstances.
Any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, the policies and procedures of Apple, Google or Stripe.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund or have a problem with a payment, you can contact us at:
14. Account deletion
You can delete your Work Price account directly from within the application.
Because deleting your account permanently deletes the Work Price data associated with it, you must cancel any subscription that is scheduled to renew before deleting your account.
This prevents a future subscription payment from being taken after your Work Price account and associated service data have been deleted.
If your subscription has been cancelled but you are still within the remainder of your current billing period, you may delete your Work Price account without waiting for the billing period to end.
Deleting your Work Price account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
You remain responsible for cancelling your subscription through the relevant payment provider or app store before deleting your account.
15. Data deletion and retention
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You can manage, export and delete your Work Price data from within the application.
Automatic deletion of paid work
Work Price automatically permanently deletes paid timesheets and additional work items 90 days after they are marked as paid, unless you delete them sooner.
This means that Work Price should not be treated as a permanent archive of historical work records.
You are responsible for exporting or retaining copies of any information you need before it is automatically deleted.
Account deletion
When you delete your Work Price account, we permanently delete the Work Price data associated with your account.
This includes, where applicable:
- account information;
- price lists;
- work progress;
- plot information;
- additional works;
- generated timesheets; and
- other data stored as part of your Work Price account.
Information independently held by third-party providers such as Stripe, Apple, Google or RevenueCat may be retained by those providers in accordance with their own policies and legal obligations.
16. Availability of Work Price
We aim to make Work Price available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will:
- always be available;
- always operate without interruption;
- be completely free from errors;
- be compatible with every device; or
- remain unchanged indefinitely.
Work Price may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- infrastructure problems;
- internet or telecommunications failures;
- third-party service failures;
- security incidents; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably practical, we will try to restore the service as soon as possible.
17. Changes to the service
We may change, improve, add or remove features from Work Price from time to time.
We may do this to:
- improve the service;
- address security issues;
- comply with legal requirements;
- respond to changes in technology;
- improve performance; or
- introduce new functionality.
We will not remove a feature that you have already paid for during a billing period in a way that materially deprives you of the service you purchased without providing an appropriate remedy where required by law.
18. Third-party services
Work Price relies on third-party services to provide parts of the application.
These include, among others:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud;
- Stripe;
- RevenueCat;
- Apple; and
- Google.
These services are subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for failures, outages or changes to third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
Where a third-party service is required for a particular Work Price feature, changes to that third-party service may affect the availability or operation of that feature.
19. App stores
If you obtain Work Price through Apple's App Store or Google Play, your use of the relevant app store is also subject to the terms and conditions of Apple or Google.
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms except where their own terms provide otherwise.
Your relationship with Apple or Google concerning the app store, payments, subscriptions and related services may therefore be governed by their respective terms.
20. Acceptable use
You must use Work Price lawfully and responsibly.
You must not use Work Price to:
- break the law;
- infringe another person's rights;
- upload malicious software;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Work Price or its infrastructure;
- interfere with the operation of the service;
- circumvent security controls;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the application, except where applicable law expressly permits this;
- use Work Price to distribute harmful or unlawful material; or
- use the service in a way that could reasonably damage Work Price or its users.
We may take reasonable action where we believe the service is being misused or these Terms are being breached.
21. Accuracy of your records
Work Price records information that you provide.
We do not independently verify:
- the accuracy of your price lists;
- the accuracy of your work records;
- the quantities you enter;
- the numeric values you enter;
- whether a work item has actually been completed;
- whether a work item has actually been paid; or
- whether the information in a generated timesheet is correct.
Work Price does not itself process or verify payment for work recorded in the application.
You are responsible for reviewing your records and generated timesheets before relying on them or providing them to another person or organisation.
Work Price should not be relied upon as the sole record of information where you are legally required to maintain a separate record.
22. No accounting, tax or financial advice
Work Price does not provide accounting, tax, payroll, financial or legal advice.
The information and calculations produced by Work Price are based on information entered by you.
You are responsible for determining how your Work Price records should be used for:
- invoicing;
- tax;
- accounting;
- payroll;
- payment;
- contractual purposes; or
- any other legal or financial purpose.
If you require professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
23. Backups and exported records
Work Price is not intended to be your sole long-term archive of work records.
You are responsible for exporting or retaining copies of information that you need for your own business, tax, accounting, contractual or other purposes.
In particular, you should be aware of the automatic 90-day deletion of paid timesheets and additional work items described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
24. What happens when your subscription ends
Work Price does not currently provide a free tier.
If your free trial ends without you starting a paid subscription, your access to Work Price's paid features will end.
If you cancel a paid subscription, you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of your current billing period.
At the end of that billing period, your subscription will expire and you will no longer have access to subscription-only features.
If you do not have an active subscription, you may no longer be able to access your Work Price account or its associated data.
Our data retention and deletion practices are described in Section 15 of these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for exporting any information you wish to retain before your subscription ends or your account is deleted.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have.
25. Suspension or termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access to Work Price where reasonably necessary, including where:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- you use Work Price unlawfully;
- you attempt to compromise the security of the service;
- your use presents a security risk to us or other users;
- we are required to do so by law; or
- continued provision of the service becomes impractical for reasons outside our reasonable control.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will provide notice before suspending or terminating an account.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
26. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above and to applicable law, Work Price is not responsible for losses that:
- were not reasonably foreseeable when you entered into these Terms;
- arise from your failure to keep appropriate copies of your records;
- result from information that you entered incorrectly;
- result from your failure to review a generated timesheet before relying on it;
- result from third-party services outside our reasonable control; or
- arise from using Work Price for a purpose for which it was not designed.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
27. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in providing Work Price where the failure or delay results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include:
- internet outages;
- telecommunications failures;
- cloud infrastructure failures;
- third-party service outages;
- cyber attacks;
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- flood;
- government action;
- changes in applicable law; or
- other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or anticipated.
We will take reasonable steps to restore affected services where possible.
28. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes may be necessary because of:
- changes to Work Price;
- changes to our business;
- changes to third-party services;
- changes in technology;
- changes in applicable law; or
- security or operational requirements.
If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before the change takes effect where appropriate.
The latest version of these Terms will be made available through Work Price and/or our website.
Your continued use of Work Price after the effective date of updated Terms may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel your subscription and stop using Work Price.
29. Complaints
If you have a complaint about Work Price, please contact us first.
Email: info@workprice.app
We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any statutory rights available to you.
30. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data.
The Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing your use of Work Price.
You can find the Privacy Policy at:
31. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the law that applies to your contract.
